Last week, Democrats kicked two Republicans out of the Wisconsin State Senate, and then spent the next 48 hours explaining how this was a defeat of some sort. What's really annoying is tomorrow there's going to be a potential Democratic recall, and if the Democrats in those races do anything other than win by fifteen percentage points the media will immediately start questioning if this signals the very end of the Democratic Party as we know it--as they have done for the last, say, twenty years.
