Republican Party celebrates their triumphant victory of losing two state senate seats
...have I got that right?
Seriously, if the "losers" on the left face the humiliating sting of kicking only a third of all the legislators they run against out of office in 2012 I'll be happy to join Speaker Nancy Pelosi in her pity party.

The Republican Party spent the last three weeks holding the American economy hostage, saying that if they didn't get whatever they wanted, they would destroy the economy. Then the credit rating of the country was downgraded, and the stock market dropped over 15 percent in two days. The Repubican Party is now blaming the Democratic President for this happening, because duh.
When I did the first Junk in the Toaster strip a few years back, it was about what a blatantly dumb idea invading Iran would be. Some way, somehow, the public managed to succeed in not letting George W. Bush do something as obviously stupid as that. That the current president can't see what is happening with the people he is calling for "compromise" with is a thing I will never understand.
